Countless school-going children in our nation face hunger and malnutrition, hindering their ability to learn and perpetuating cycles of poverty.
We embark on a noble mission to nurture the minds and bodies of our nation's future leaders through the provision of nutritious meals to school children across Nigeria.
Our dedication to this cause is steadfast, rooted in the belief that education and nutrition are fundamental rights every child deserves. We reject the notion that hunger or malnutrition should impede a child's pursuit of knowledge. Thus, we endeavor to ensure that every child in government-owned public schools receives a nourishing meal crafted from home-grown agricultural crops.
In line with President Ahmed Bola Tinubu Renewed Hope Agenda, the country is geared towards diversification in addressing the above SDGs through multi-stakeholders' engagement and inclusion. In his presidential declaration, the president promised to scale up the National Home-Grown School Feeding Programme to 10 million Nigerian children. He has also demonstrated this commitment by establishing the office of the Senior Special Assistant on the National Homegrown School Feeding Programme, which will support and facilitate his vision of scaling up the school feeding program and working with stakeholders to coordinate all efforts to achieve this vision.
